Step 3: Place 3rd motif, right side down, on top of bottom motif. Slipstitch edge of bottom motif together with 3rd motif – Do Not Finish Off – Open all motifs to reveal heart shape

Step 4: Chain 1, single crochet in same place; single crochet evenly around heart; join with slipstitch to 1st sc

Step 5: Chain 3, make puff stitch in same place (yo, insert hook in desired place, yo – draw up a loop [3 times], yo, draw through all loops on hook, chain 1)

Step 6: Make puff stitch in each stitch around, until you get to top center of heart. Single crochet decrease over top two center stitches; continue making puff stitches in each stitch around, joining with slipstitch to top of 1st puff stitch, and pushing chain 3 behind.
