This lovely leaf is again inspired by my Irish Lace post – thus the white color and size 10 doily thread; I’m working on motifs to make my own, good people. It is my own original design of mine. I’ll be sure to keep you posted about my progress. The pattern consists primarily of shell and puff stitches, plus a few basic stitches. I’m sure it can be made in many colors, using all different yarns and hook sizes depending on your individual project.
Stitches Used in Pattern
Beginning Shell: chain 3, 2 dc, chain 3, 3 dc
Shell: 3 dc, chain 3, 3 dc
Puff: Yarn over, insert hook in desired stitch or space, yarn over, pull up a loop (4 times); yarn over, draw through all loops on hook, chain 1 to close
